STDs – From Prevention to Cure, Everything You Need to Know
Being careful while indulging in any sexual activity is the first thought we all get as responsible individuals. However, there are times when being in the moment seems more important than pausing and looking for the right protection option. At that very moment, the chances of getting sexually transmitted diseases or STDs gets the highest.
Also known as venereal disease in older terms, STDs are transmitted via sexual contact in the form of virus, bacteria, parasites, or fungi. I am a 23-year-old sexual health and wellness practitioner, and in my experience of dealing with STD patients, I have witnessed endless cases of chlamydia, crabs, genital herpes, etc. One thing that I have found common amongst almost all those cases was a lack of awareness. That’s what inspired me to write this blog. So, let’s discuss the basics and important details of STD or venereal disease.
